Bonavista Downs Community Information

Bonavista Downs is a small portion of the Lake Bonavista community, tucked into the northeast corner of the community bordered by Bow Bottom Trail and Anderson Road.  It is separated from the rest of the community by a long thin green space. This community was established along with Lake Bonavista in 1967 around the man-made Lake Bonavista, setting the standard of the Calgary ‘lake community’ model.

Bonavista Downs is easily connected to Deerfoot via the Anderson Rd. entrance/exit intersection. Downtown is approximately 18 minutes away by car. It is connected with 4 bus routes to the Anderson LRT Station on the Red Line. With the completed Green Line LRT route, transit connections downtown will be much quicker.

Calgary International Airport is 22 minutes away via Deerfoot Trail.
