Braeside is a SW Calgary community tucked just south of Glenmore Reservoir, in the southwest corner where Southland Dr. and 14th St. meet. First established in 1965 and mostly comprised of detatched single family homes characteristic of the 70s style. Braeside is about to get an upgrade on its connectivity with an incoming BRT route up 14th St that will cut commutes downtown in half on transit, as well as the completion of the SW portion of the Ring Road that will open up the city’s NW, currently only accessible by Crowchild Trail.
