Palliser is desirable South Calgary community established in 1967 with a population just over 3,000. Palliser homes for sale are mostly detached and semi-detached single family homes and condos in low rise buildings. Palliser is bordered by 90 Ave. to the north, Southland Drive to the south, the community of Pump Hill to the east, and the community of Oakridge to the west. The coming Ring Road will pass nearby to the west and make a substantial upgrade to Palliser’s level of connectivity. The SW BRT is also planned to pass nearby, providing LRT like access to downtown Calgary to Calgary’s SW communities near 14th Street. There are numerous nearby amenities you can enjoy year round. Glenmore Reservoir is one of Calgary’s favourite outdoor destinations with its beautiful cycle path encircling it, along with Heritage Park along it’s shores. The Southland Leisure Centre is one of SW Calgary’s favourite destinations for families and is within 10 minutes of Palliser.
